Temperature: Min, Max, Avg Bluff Creek at the Mouth 2003 |

    |
Caption:  This chart shows minimum, average, and maximum daily water temperature at the mouth of Bluff Creek for the period 05/1/2003 to 10/7/2003. Maximum daily river temperatures were beginning to exceed levels stressful to salmonids during late-July, but night time temperatures fell back to within optimum for salmonids (10-15 C) until July. While too warm for coho, Chinook juveniles and steelhead could thrive in these temperatures. Adult salmon also use the mouth of Bluff Creek as a refuge periodically. Data are from the US Fish and Wildlife Service. See Info links for more information.
