   Caption:  The number of Chinook salmon carcasses in several reaches of the Trinity River from Lewiston Dam to the North Fork Trinity and below is gauged annually by the California Department of Fish and Game. Assistance with lower reaches sometimes supplied by the Hoopa Tribe. The returns for 1991/92 and 1994/95 were extremely low with a maximum of 98 and 167 adults per kilometer, respectively.
