| Caption: The California Department of Fish and Game has conducted redd counts in the Scott River from 1993 to 2002 over more than a dozen reaches which span 60 miles of the river. Surveyor access was restricted in Reach 11 and 12 so no data were collected, consequently, counts may slightly under-represent redd numbers. The U.S. Forest Service, Siskiyou County Schools and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service often join in counts, which are coordinated by CDFG. See Info Links for more information. | |
