Caption:  The percentage of streambank covered by coniferous canopy varied greatly among streams of the Ten Mile River basin and exceeded 50% in only Buckhorn Creek, Bear Haven Creek, and Booth Gulch. Overall canopy cover exceeded 80% in all but mainstem stream segments. Streams are ordered by basin area. Data was provided by Hawthorne Timber Company and comes from Georgia-Pacific surveys during the summers of 1995 and 1996. See Info Links for more information.
